Breaking Dawn

Last week I decided to re-read the first three Twilight books in anticipation of the fourth being released Last Friday night at midnight. *My husband is so patient.* Anyways, I got Breaking Dawn finished in about 10 hours (760 pages, so not to shabby, huh?) I am almost done with it for the second time and I love it. It's getting really bad reviews from some really die hard fans, but I think the problem is that a lot of these readers are kids......this is a 'young adult' series. As a wife and mom, I totally 'get' this last book and I love it. If I had a teen daughter who read it, I would make sure there was a lot of discussion between us, but I wouldn't ever tell her she couldn't read it. The other issue seems to be that people thought too much about what they would want to happen. I love that this is all Stephenie's...that she didn't write it for fans...there weren't 'fans' when she imagined the whole of the story. I wish I had her talent and imagination. Can't wait for Midnight Sun.........
